Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park is an United States national park Which is located Washington’s Olympic Peninsula in the Pacific Northwest. The coastal section of the park is an arduous, gritty sea beach along with a strip of adjoining forest.

Olympic National Park is 1,442 mi² long. In 1976, Olympic National Park was named by UNESCO as an International Biosphere Reserve, and in 1981 as a World Heritage Site.It is 60 miles long but just a few miles wide, with native communities at the mouths of 2 rivers.United States President Theodore Roosevelt basically created Mount Olympus National Monument on 2 March 1909.It was called a national park by President Franklin Roosevelt on June 29, 1938.In 1988, Congress designated 95% of the park as the Olympic Wilderness.

Olympic National Park has lots of animals seen here such as birds, Olympic Marmots, Salmon, Goats, Deer, Roosevelt Elk, Whales, Bears, Mountain Goats, Amphibians, Invertebrates, Reptiles etc.The Park and its environments are home to a wide diversity of wildlife.On land, few species, like racoons, beaver, and mink, deer, elk, cougars, and bears. Park waters are home to some of the healthiest runs of quiet salmon outside of Alaska. almost 300 species of birds live in this area.

Payment is by cash or checks only. Many campgrounds are a self-registration.Showers are not receivable in the campgrounds.Camping site in park-operated campgrounds is not equipped with water or electrical hookups.

North Olympic Coast: Ozette Loop, Shi Shi Beach, Rialto Beach, Shi Shi to Sand Point Route, Sand Point to Rialto, Beach Route, Ericson’s Bay Primitive Trail, Lake Ozette by Water etc.
South Olympic Coast: Second Beach, Third Beach, South Coast Beach Route, Oil City Trail, Order Topo Map for South Coast etc.
